First NY Lease Experience

    So I pulled the trigger last night for a 61 acre lease for myself and future father-in-law. He gun hunts, is just picking up bowhunting, but only gets out a handful of times a year. Pretty excited to see how this goes as it is in a great area. I plan on updating this thread as I go to document the experience and see if it pays off. Very few leases ever pop up in this area so I'm hoping I jumped on it at the right time (especially since it is now available for the majority of turkey season).

    Wyoming, I have a place to hunt in Chautauqua/Erie/Niagara already but all public/permission and that is always subject to change or not produce.

    Awesome, I lived in NY up until a few years ago. I used to hunt Otsego and Albany county.
