Last Oct I bought a set of thier base layers. Spendy.
Wore them 4 or 5 times. The elastic waist band has stretched so much they are unwearable.
Filed a warranty claim and they will not replace them as they determined to be normal wear n tear.
    Horrible customer service.
I will never spend a dime on their products.
    Be aware fellas.

Just for fairness here, I've never had any issues with a single piece of Firstlite gear. I have base layers from them that are on their 5th season of heavy use. Zero complaints. The only piece I'd say that has stretched would be a wick neck gator, but it is still fine even with a rip in it.

I'm not refuting your issue at all. Just wanted to offer my experience. Maybe you got a dud. Customer service has always been top notch for me as well.

Several reasons actually. General advice on applications of specific gear (what works best in a region, like level of insulation), returns and exchanges. I'm a weird in between size for their jackets and they were totally cool during that whole process. I've never had gear "fail" like your experience. Did they At least give you a discount for another order?

Yes they did. 30% off my next order ( which there never be one). Lol.
Not sure how an elastic band could stretch 6_8" and that is considered " normal wear and tear"? After being only 4/5 times.

I get that you are upset, but 30 percent is pretty good for an apology. They could've just said pound sand. Just curious, did you throw them in a dryer? I've always hand washed and air dried.

BTW, drop that discount code here!

I like there stuff also, its truly a bummer that BNB stuff failed him. I run my stuff in the dryer maybe it depends on the pieces.

Washed 1 time in cold water and hung up to dry.
That really shouldn't matter. These were spendy and only made it a few wears.
I've got several other brands that have been worn MANY times and years old that still fit fine.
This is an elastic band issue and they dismissed it and it's case closed.
I will not spend another dime with them.

That's pretty disappointing, especially for what they charge. Elastic completely failed after 5 to 6 uses is a very obvious material flaw, can't believe they wouldn't just replace them.
30% off buying another set that may be just as poor quality and knowing they don't stand behind their product? Might as well just hang up on you.

    Disappointed for sure Mod.
I'm Purdy loyal to good companies but I will bash and NEVER spend a dime on them again.
