Does anybody know anything about or have any experience with these guys? http://www.firstlite.com/ I'm looking to add some new camo for next season and this caught my eye while watching some of the ATA videos here on BHC. Just curious about any feedback on the quality of the gear.

Haven't hunted in it, but checked it out at ATA and it's really nice stuff. Not quite as heavy as some of the other merino wool garments I've seen, but very soft and it appears to be very well made. I believe I'm going to be picking some up for this fall, just not sure what pattern yet. Mostly it will server as a base/mid layer under other garmets so I suppose it really doesn't matter too much.

I've got some of it. Brknarrow (Frank) has some, too.

You can get several of their garments in the ASAT pattern ......via ASAT's website.

Since you have some, what's your opinion of it in the field? Is it a good garment? Does it hold up well? Is it warm? How do the sizes run (big, small, normal)?

GA...It's pretty "stretchy", actually. Sizes run true (ck the site for abnormalities). I only use mine as a layering garment.

I'll say this.....It's "thinner" than I was expecting. That's fine. But I'm not gonna sit here and tell you it's "extremely warm/cool". I'm not quite sure how to convey that with any credibility.

    I like it for layering.
