Absolutely awe inspiring. Makes humanity's stupid problems seem pretty petty and insignificant

Can't wait until they release the rest tomorrow.

When you look at it from a purely physical point of view, it's amazing how microscopic we are. We exist on a tiny planet orbiting a tiny star in a medium sized galaxy. Look at all the galaxies in that image, many of which absolutely dwarf the one our puny sun is located in. It's really humbling and awe-inspiring.

Oh, and I don't smoke weed.

and to just think that image is just a spec, a grain of sand on a desert, there is no way we are alone...
I think i heard that the mirror has already been hit by a space rock, hope nothing bigger knocks it out before it really gets going.

Of course there is. But you can pay a special tax and it'll all be okay.

This is super cool and blows my mind! There’s gotta be some massive white tails out there somewhere in one of those galaxies!

Been watching a lot of space stuff. Guy used this comparison to explain the vastness of the Milky Way Galaxy. It will blow your mind.
If the earth represented the milky way galaxy, and you shrunk the sun down to nothing more than a half a pin tip and placed it on earth, that is how small the sun is in the milky way....
Dude it would be a miracle for any signs of life to communicate.....which sucks!

And, as big as space is, atomic structures are small...
