Went out this evening with my son who bought his first bow last year. Nothing until dusk and then had 8 does and a 4 pointer walk by his stand. He said one of the does was as big as a cow. He didn't take a shot at anything because he wants his first bow deer to be a nice buck since he didn't buy an antlerless tag. He's coming back in two weeks w/another tag and says he's going to bloody his bow then. I really hope so! I'm going to have to move a stand so I can video tape his hunt. There were 4 scrapes by his stand that weren't there 2 days ago. I think it's a very promising spot for him. We came back to the house and the wife had made bulgogi (Korean beef dish). We sat down and dined together before he had to head home. Hope the next two weeks hurries up and gets here!
