Well fellas i spent this past weekend in the woods with stick and string in hand. I didn't even see a deer! I checked my trail cam and nothing on it also! There doesn't seem to be much deer movement in all the areas ive seen deer in the past. I think its because there is standing corn on the other side of the property and beans on my side. I assume they prefer the corn right now and are hanging out over there. The acorns are just starting to fall so in a couple weeks they should come into the woods for those and ill be waiting. The hunt continues!

italian85 - Where in DE are you hunting? I'm in northern DE. I'll start getting out when I'm done a bunch of house work I started a couple weeks ago.

I mainly hunt on state land both north and south of the canal. I have one good buck on camera that I hope to see and get a shot at. On public land in northern Delaware, it is very hard to "target" a specific buck. So many hunters, so little land. I make due though!
