Yesterday was my first day of bow hunting. Also my first time using a stand. I did not see anything but I learned a few things and the season here in v.a. just started I have plenty of time

Don't be impatient. Bowhunting is like life, you learn as you go. Learn from mistakes, enjoy the outdoors, and good luck harvesting a deer! (assuming thats what your hunting) Good luck!

Just stick with it. I was self taught a few years back and remember many days in the stand not having a clue what I was doing. It will all payoff eventually!

I still have pretty much no idea what I'm doing.. you'll learn. I've seen.. ehh maybe 200 deer while bowhunting the last 2 years and I've shot one button buck. No matter what happens to you this year, you'll get another chance. That's one of the biggest parts of learning this fine sport.
