This will be my first ever food plot down here in SW florida im not really sure what will work so im going to try some clover mix and maybe some bean mix and see what happens. Its just the back yard of my grandpas house but i have been feeding the deer for about 4 years now and figured it was time to try my hand at a food plot. Got the ph tested and it came back with a ph of 6.9 and the recommended ph for the clover and beans was between 6-7.5 so im right there in the middle ImageUploadedByTapatalk1396236710.644216.jpg its going the be that whole grassy area

Your PH levels are nearly perfect, that 7.5 part of the range is about as poor for plants as the 6 range.

That should make a dandy food plot, good luck!
