ok so maned up and just pulled it and its fine. it was just where i had to actually start pulling lol. i was just so amped up that I dry fired it that i wussed up a lil. I shot it this morning and everything is fine.
I know some bows are rated for so many dry fires so I'd imagine it's fine. Still not a good idea... Lol!
all is good and working fine I tool it in and the owner slapped the back of my head. he,s like i Told u always have an arrow. But all is good live and learn. still working on my shooting for another month till Wisconsin Late season with the wife. thanks guys
Also don't just nock an arrow just so u can pull back. Make sure ur outside and have it pointed like u normally do if practicing. Never draw back a nocked arrow in ur house as something more horrible than a dry fire could take place.
"but honey the pro shop guy told me I had to have an arrow nocked...don't worry fido will be okay..."
Take a cotton ball and rub it along the limbs. Any cracks will snag the cotton. That will eliminate or define at least one potential problem.
thanks all. And tracking always in a right direction. just got a little rambunctious on wanting to shoot and hold my bow so bad. I live on post and i cant go out kn that back yard like in wisconsin and just shoot away. but live and learn. wish me and the wife luck for late season in Wisconsin.
