    ok guys and gals if you will. Roger got it Y without a knocked arrow.... but than u have the people live and learn. So i have brand new bow just went shooting today had a great time. Came home was checking all my screws making sure things were good. and BumBum Bum..... I pulled the bow back and shwack!!!!!!!!!!! pizza fingers new string.... bad combo Dry fired.. so i drop my head even my wife looks at me and shakes her head. i pick up my bow cuz i dropped it. and look it over even had magnifing glass and head lamp just me and my legion at a stair down. Strings Good, Cam's no visable warps, bends. limbs Good no cracks so im like thank the man up stairs. so i man up put on my carhart and kevlar and balistic goggles and attempt to draw back. idk y and heres my question....at about 3" back from rest possition the sting/cam gets cought up or feels like it will go no further? any suggestions besides proshop??? thanks guys and like i said live and learn

    ok so maned up and just pulled it and its fine. it was just where i had to actually start pulling lol. i was just so amped up that I dry fired it that i wussed up a lil. I shot it this morning and everything is fine.

    Just take it to a pro shop just to make sure everything is fine. No cracks or anything

    I know some bows are rated for so many dry fires so I'd imagine it's fine. Still not a good idea... Lol!

    all is good and working fine I tool it in and the owner slapped the back of my head. he,s like i Told u always have an arrow. But all is good live and learn. still working on my shooting for another month till Wisconsin Late season with the wife. thanks guys

    Also don't just nock an arrow just so u can pull back. Make sure ur outside and have it pointed like u normally do if practicing. Never draw back a nocked arrow in ur house as something more horrible than a dry fire could take place. :)

    Take a cotton ball and rub it along the limbs. Any cracks will snag the cotton. That will eliminate or define at least one potential problem.

    thanks all. And tracking always in a right direction. just got a little rambunctious on wanting to shoot and hold my bow so bad. I live on post and i cant go out kn that back yard like in wisconsin and just shoot away. but live and learn. wish me and the wife luck for late season in Wisconsin.
