Tomorrow Mechdoc is going hunting with me! It will be our first time out deer hunting and hopefully it's more productive than our Coyote hunt. Been looking forward to getting him out on some local land and I'm pretty sure he will be digging the extra sleep since he won't be driving very far. The weather is looking decent so hopefully Doc gets a shot on a nice buck!
Slow morning. Doc had a deer blow before shooting light and I called in what ended up being a fork and it went right under Doc's stand. We are gonna hunt another half hour and call it quits for the morning.
Slow morning for me as well. Had one deer come in as I was standing at the base of my tree clipping my bow onto my hoist rope. It got about 6 feet away before it realized I was there and headed for the next county. Once it got light all I saw was a few squirrels and some geese. Gonna head out to an acorn hot spot tonight and hopefully schwack another doe while self-filming.
