first deer, what do you think he will score?

    I finally got the chance to start hunting last year after years of wanting to. No one in my family has ever hunted so i was pretty lucky when I started dating my girlfriend and all of her family were avid hunters. I was given the opportunity to shoot a doe that was 70 yards out ( I was using a rifle). I was so nervous and and shaking so bad i missed! needless to say i was pretty discouraged ( and kinda embarrassed) missing such an easy shot. Well i went out at 5 am pretty much every weekend i could make it down to the land and nothing ever showed back up! as i got more desperate i ended up going to public land.. after a few months of the same ole 5 am routine a buck comes running through the woods. I was able to calm down enough to get a good shot and 30 yards later he was down. Its my first deer/buck and i couldn't be happier. I'm a pretty small guy coming in at around 5'6 but i dragged that deer out the woods guts and all for 2 miles with the biggest smile on my face! it was one of the best days ever and now I'm hooked and picking up bow hunting for even more of a challenge! I got a call from the taxidermist and will be picking him up this week. I wanted to see what y'all thought he might score?

    Nice buck especially for your first. Bigger than any of mine. Looks like your girlfriend congratulated you quite a bit too! I wouldn't have any idea of scoring but just wanted to say congrats.
