First deer was yummy

    I shot my first deer (doe) last week and today I grilled up one of the backstrap steaks. Man that was goooooood. I have only eaten deer one or two other times, but this was my deer and success tasted great.

    Congratulations!! The backstraps are my favorite :) If I can get my first deer this weekend, I hope to be doing the exact same thing! delicious! Enjoy the rest of it......there is a ton that you can do with venison! The peeps on this forum have some great ideas and recipes!
