first deer of 09 new bow

    hi,
    my son shot a doe from my ground blind , he dosent normally hunt from the ground but i talked him into it. 37 yard shot we waited about an hour tracked the doe up to the edge of a private farm. got permission from the land owner to recover the deer. the deer traveled about 1/2 mile. i was very suprized that it went that far.
