First Deer I Kill...

    The first deer I killed ever in my life was with my car...it was enough to make me sick. It was a good little buck too and he could have been a nice addition to the freezer. :sad: I hope no one else is as unfortunate as me this year.

    Sorry to hear that. I know deer to a number to cars when they are hit. At least you are okay.

    What do you mean he could have been a nice addition to the freezer? I would have saved what I could have. At least your ok but doesn't seem like your car is ok.

    My buddy hit a deer and was able to save the backstraps off em.

    I would have saved what I could but I was so shocked that all I could do was keep going straight. By the time I recovered I was at my exit to get off the highway.

    I hit 3 in one week years ago! Two about 50 yards apart along the same stretch of road. That spot had a high weed bank and you just couldn't see them until they jumped out. I'm glad I don't live along that road anymore. Cost almost $4K in repairs.
    Glad you're ok. Hopefully the next one you kill will be with a bow!
