I'll just get this over with........No pictures. This was kind of an impromptu trip, and I didn't bring my camera with me. And, desiring a little peace and quiet, I left my phone in the truck. Good thing, as it turns out. We dumped pert near everything in the water at one point or another. :d We caught a few smallish bass, read under 2 lbs......But I was most excited to pull in the first 3 crappie of the spring. The biggest was around 10" and weighed....oh I dunno....half to 3/4 lb I guess. Sure was nice to see the ole paper mouth on the end of the string. Hope there are many more to come, but.........We're beginning the process of buying a house so I'm not sure how much time I'll have. Ya'll been on the water yet?
Nice pictures! In all honesty, I saw some guys fishing on a pond near the farm today. It really reminded me to get my new hunting/fishing license and get fishing.
It'll be awhile til we can hit the open water here. My brother went ice fishing north of here today and they were still driving trucks out on the lake.
I haven't been on the water yet but I caught my limit of Walleye through the Lake Erie ice the day before all the guys got rescued last month...:d http://news.aol.com/article/lake-erie-rescue/333225 The biggest was 29 1/2" and I'd guess it to have been around 9 lbs. or so.
I went with a few buddies on one of the rivers near school. I caught a 2lber or so. It was around 15" or more. I didnt measure it, but it had a belly on it. The only pics i got were on my phone and I lost the cable to hook it up. The water was in the 60s, but that's because a charcoal power plant's water flows into this river. It felt really good to be on the river again.
Act like you are making a picture message but enter your e-mail address. It will send the picture to your e-mail and you can upload it from there. I havn't been out fishing yet, the lakes are going to start warming up soon, but I am waiting for trout season to open up. I am gonna hit the streams hard the first week and then I will focus on pike/muskie fishing the lakes for a few weeks until the pressure on the streams dies down, then I will be hitting the trout hard right up till archery season starts up.
