I was in my deer stand, some movement caught my eye at first light and in she came, no calling needed! I do keep a primos triple threat cottontail call in my backpack just in case.
Thanks all!! Early in- i would love to get a full body mount but its a bit too much money for me to spend right now. Sure wish i could! Would look great in a college dorm room
skin it and get in tanner. Hang it on the wall or from a post in the house. About the second best looking yote I have ever seen
Dropped her off at the taxidermist today to be skinned and tanned! Also getting the skull back. Cant wait!! Gonna look great on my wall. I appreciate the compliments guys!! Both on the yote and the bow, im super excited about both! Ive never shot a bow as well as i have this one. Its always great drawing on a critter (such as a coyote, in the dark) and having total confidence that my arrow will go where my pin is pointed. Doesnt get any better than that.
Nice yote! That hide is going to look nice along side the skull -Pete "A bad week in the wood is still better then the best day at work!!" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It was my first critter with the rage Hypodermics, they worked great, great entrance and exit, blood trail was small but where it died was like someone poured out a gallon bucket of blood. The arrow passed through clean and stuck in the creek bank, bent the blade slightly, most likely hit a rock under the snow. Quite happy with them
Thanks man, it is its own breed of bow thats for sure. Finally got all my accessories in and put on and its shooting excellent, as i proved on that yote :-)
thats a nice yote yeah here in illinois me and my one buddy hunt them all year round with our bows or crossbows to keep our skills sharp for deer hunting plus its fun to sit up in a tree in the middle of the summer lol wearing light camo we bowhunt racoons possums skunks and groundhogs in the fall and summer also and sometimes we will use them for bait we are allowed to use bait and shoot them all year with anykind of weapon for yotes its awesome we take all the yotes we can off 6 pieces of property the 3 we bow hunt and 3 are my buddies uncles he breeds wild pheasants and quail and the yotes flock to his property and try to kill all the birds and dig out there nest off those 3 last year we killed 51 with our bows not includeing the other 3 properties and my neighbor is a taxidermist so he takes them all and sells the hides and everything but yote hunting is awesome in the off season to keep you pumped up and ready for deer season.
