Had a great morning thismorning on a small plot of private local land, this nice blonde female coyote came down the creek edge in to 10yards at about 6:50am. It was still pretty dark from the hazy fog and cloud cover. Made a great quartering lung shot and the rage hypodermic smoked her and put her down 15yds from where i shot her. This was alot of firsts for me, my first coyote kill, my first bow coyote, my first blood on the Carbon Spyder, and my first kill of 2014. Super excited!!!! An hour later i was drawn on a big doe but the dead coyote had her on edge and she spooked just out of range before i got a shot. As i was packing up i saw another coyote off in the bean field. Dissapointed that i didnt close the deal on a deer this year but what a great way to end my bow season!!

Thanks guys! I thought it had a real pretty coat so im taking it to the taxidermist tomorrow to get it tanned! Ive never seen a coyote that blonde before, made it even more cool. Thanks for the compliments on the bow as well! Im super happy with it and it shoots very well. im glad to get it broken in on a critter before next fall

Congrats on your yote! That one is so pretty I'd get a full mount of her, but that's just me. Also, great looking bow and continued good luck with it!

are you calling them in or just sitting and waiting? I have a guy out in Arizona who builds great calls. II keep the cottontail enclosed call with me at all times and his grunt call brought my buck running to me this year. The land I hunt by my house looks just like the woods in your pics
