I don't have the foggiest idea how to age a buck, but he's a beaut!

Repositioned a cell cam yesterday, slightly different angle on the same trail. Tracks in the area since I set it a couple of weeks ago, suggest the deer were going past it too close to be picked up. Thought with my scent in the area it would be a couple of days before deer moved through again, nope, had a doe walk through three hours after I left. Hopefully, the next couple of weeks picks up buck movement for the opener.

Here is a buck I haven't seen for a month... He packed on some inches, passed him 20x last year at what I thought was 3 so he's definitely a shooter for me now.

This is a old cheap cam so farthest deer 30 yrds do not show well. I enlarged before taking screen shot. Thus the fuzzies. Ooppss screen lines I didn't notice, sorry.
These ARE NOT what I saw as far as big boys. Just a few nice 8pts and a very young crazy spike I love seeing. Note my free range chickens. These deer come in and hang with them daily. It's funny.

Ok I have to ask, looking at my 3rd pic. down does it look strange?
What I'm seeing is it looks like the rack is on the back side of the head and not between the ears, also facing the wrong direction!
    Am I wrong?
