Im picking out my first trail cam to set out this spring and I need some assitance. The three cams I have narrowed it down too are the Covert Mp6, the Covert Mpe5, and the Moultrie game spy d-333. I want to know which one of these do you think I will get the best bang for my buck from. The camera will be placed in a all wooded area if that helps at all. Also, I am not dead set on those three so I will be willing to check out some other cams if they are in my price range of about $140. Thanks for the help!

For great quality pictures I would bet you could get a 2012 DLC Covert Red 40 for under $140 and that's a great deal on my favorite camera.

    I would track down a 2012 red40.
Here is a link to a ebay listing to $140 shipped :http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-DLC-Covert-Extreme-Series-Red-40-Infrared-Flash-8MP-Trail-Camera-/140942288526?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20d0d0a68e
Or on his site it is $135 shipped as he dont have to pay Ebay :http://www.custom1enterprises.com/custom1enterprises_017.htm

I also use Moultrie cameras and have a Covert Camera (2012 black60). Covert will have better battery life among many other things.

Good luck and keep us updated on what you end up getting!

Ya, it would be tough to pass on a 2012 Red 40 at those prices.

Love the red 40, and the mp6. The mpe5 is the only one I haven't got to play with but I'd try an go for a 2012 red40 like they said or the new 2013 mp6, it has a 8 megapixel cam (as does the 2012 red40) so either way it's a good deal!

Thanks guys! Do you think I should look at the 2012 red 40? I will definantly check it out and try to find the best deal, I'll keep you guys updated with what I get!(Prob the red 40 since so many people love it). But it will be a while yet until I buy one, probably about a month or so. Expect pics from me in the future!

sounds good. Keep us updated and we will find you the best deal out there at the time. Not sure how long the 2012's will stick around, but we will find you the best deal on a camera for sure.

Well looks like you've been helped.

I would recommend the Red 40, like many others.
