1st off congrats on great deer:lmao:, 2nd off a lot of hunters won't get the chance to take a deer of that caliber in there life time:(,sad but true. Nice when it all falls together and enjoy the backstraps.

Hey nothing wrong with that, I would sit all day too it will be well worth it, buddy saw 160 inch today runnin with his head down around 9:30 am, don't be afraid to rattle too, idk if this came in to rattles or not, but I rattled about ten minutes before I shot him, but I used just regular old cheap Tinks' on some cotton balls.

hey man any time you shoot a buck with a bow its a major accomplishmen let alone one in the 120's. Thats a great buck in my book and its good to see another college student getting one cause i feel your struggle for hunting time.

Thanks bud, yeah last year was my first year of bow hunting, and I passed up alot of small bucks last year but never quite saw one that seperated itself from the typical 1 and halfs like this one, my cousin got me into bow hunting, and he hunts alot and has alot more property to hunt, and has seen alot of big deer and shot a nice 8 point last year, and I just really have this one spot, and I was starting to lose faith because all i kept hearing everyday last week all the big deer my friends were seeing, and i hadn't seen a buck all year til this weekend, in the end we scored it and it ended up scoring higher than his biggest buck he has killed with a bow yet so that made me pretty happy. I have one under my belt now so i don't care how long i have to wait for a real bruiser. good luck to you and thanks for the post!
