Well, it's been out a couple of weeks and the battery indicator, which I can read on the app, still says full. With using it out of state later this year, which is why I bought it, I'm hoping to get at least 3 months out of a set. We'll see.

What type and brand are you using? Lithium, premium alkaline (quantum, etc.), or regular alkaline?

Pastor Jim it seems like you've got the remote trail cam thing down. Not being too intelligent myself could you please explain in simpleton language exactly how the system works especially the part of the carrier plan that handles sending the pics. Costs, carriers, etc.

Being an old man I don't know if I'm an expert on anything computer. However this one wasn't too bad. I don't know how the other brands work but with this one you buy a data only plan from AT&T. There are several plans available but I got the 3 months for $25.00. Here is a link to trailcampro.com that explains how to set it up. Good luck if you purchase one.
