First buck on our new farm

    Thanks for the kind words. We have big plans for this year. We'll be doing TSI on the woods. Also clearing area for a food plot and hinging trees for deer cover.

    This farm is 166 acres, 25 acres is tillable, the rest is woods, mostly oaks. We had a bumper crop of acorns this year. Also have a small stocked pond on it.

    We have a house on the farm and a cabin back in the woods about a mile from the front of the farm. We're almost finished with it. I'll stay there overnight and be able to slip into stands without walking the length of the farm and leaving my scent all over the place.

    The best thing about this place is the neighbors. Some of the nicest people I've ever met.
