We bought a new farm in Missouri with high hopes of some big bucks. I didn't see any monsters this year but was fortunate to take this buck just before rifle season started. A 15 yard shot, 52 lb Mathews HeliM bow, RazorTrick broadheads did the job. We'll be build more food plots, bedding and trails for this year. Hopefully we'll get some really big boys to pay us a visit.
Thats a respectable MO deer. There are actually quite a few nice deer down around Nevada and over towards Ft. Scott KS. My insurance agent and his boy take a few nice ones over in that area. It's getting better every year, wasn't that long ago that bucks like the one in our pic were monsters for MO deer (80's).
Nice!!! Get you some nice food plots in and who knows what monsters you'll get through there.. Good luck
