Some of you may have heard the rumors. I'll put an end to the suspense finally. I got this buck yesterday morning but spent the night at my friends and his internet was down.....Sorry this took so long.

There was some ground shrinkage on this buck. He came in right at first light. I looked at him thru the binocs and saw pretty good mass and 10 points that looked pretty good too. After that I got my bow up and started looking for a shooting lane, never really looked back at the antlers, concentrated on his chest. I found a lane he was headed towards and maaaaad as he approached, he didn't stop so I looked ahead for the next lane. Maaad again, this time he stopped. I released the arrow and it was a spine shot. He must have dropped. Got another arrow and waited for him to stop thrashing and put one thru his ribs.

After I got down I could see his tines were really short and one was broken, but he does have good mass. Official Score 124 7/8"

Beautiful buck........if that's ground shrinkage I can't wait to see one that isn't.

    Nice one John!
That's definitely not the one I passed or the one that winded me in the corner of the food plot.
The 10 I passed has a completely different frame, higher with longer tines and the one that winded me was much wider.
