First buck of the season!

    I lightly hit the grunt call about 5 minutes before he appeared. Had him broadside walking at 18yds when I made a tone to stop him and Whaaackk! Complete pass-thru once again with the 2-blade blood runner. I sat in the stand for another 15 minutes or so then decided to get down and take a look where I had made contact. AWESOME blood :woot: So I gathered my gear and headed back to the truck to meet a couple of hunting buddys. We waited about 45 minutes or so and decided to head back in. We found him about 65 yds from where the shot had been made. Not a real heavy rack but first buck ever with the bow ill take it! measured 19" outside.

    It seems to be hit and miss. Still early I believe. Yesterday was the first day of a cold front, I believe that is helping out some.
