    That deer was a monster. U see the body on that thing.:jaw: But seriously, that is an awesome first buck. I was lucky enough to take a big buck. And u certainly did not take no basket rack buck. So congratulations Sir.

    Congrats Paul! I shot a small 5 pointer for my first and put him on the wall. I am as proud of him as I am of my big boys I have now. I bet you are excited! That is great! Happy for you my friend!

    My first thought was that the shot was low so I waited 45 minute before I tracked him.

    Yea it worked out really well for me, he initially ran 20-30 yards from impact point and then stopped and just started walking away I saw him stumble and fall three times before he was able to get up run another 15 yards and started walking again. I was in disbelieve when he got up after falling three times. But he walked another 20-30 yards disappeared behind some thick brush and laid down maybe 40 yards from the tree I was in. I found him an hour later, my initial thought was I hit low so I gave him extra time, turns out it was a heart shot but better to wait then bump them.
