Got out late Thursday evening to unwind from some of life's stresses. Well glad I did because I managed to have my first encounter with a buck ever. Just so happened to use my call and throw out a few doe bleats when I set it down and look back up there he was staring straight at the blind. probably about 40 or 50 yards ahead of me. Talk about a huge adrenaline rush hitting me. Now in the next hour or so im heading back out now this time I want to put him on the ground for my first buck/bow kill ever. This is where the story turns down hill and I need some help. that 40 or 50 yards away was through small trees, low hanging branches, tall grass and so on. Should I move where I set up or stay put? The area I was in I could see 8 rubs on trees and two scrapes and some really worn down paths leading everywhere and anywhere. I watched him work a rub so im hoping he'll be back tonight. I would hate to watch him walk away again, and he didn't seem to interested into calls. buck grunts got him to stop and look, doe bleats got him to turn around and take a few steps to me, but wouldn't commit to giving me a shot I was comfortable with. any help would be greatly appreciated guys. sorry for the long ramble also.
