Been doing a lot of reading and researching, and have now gone to bass pro. After researching, I went in knowing to look at BEAR, Hoyt and PSE. I was suggested to go with the BEAR Attitude. From what I have researched today, it has been reviewed as a solid, quick, smooth bow, that can be enjoyed by both new hunters and avid shooters. Price on the ready to hunt package, is 399.99. Preety good from what I am hearing and feel confident in going back tomorrow to get it. What do you guys think? Now this is still remembering I have not shot a compound bow and am completely new...
Welcome to the site. You need to try many bows and decide what feels best for you, and what also feels best to your wallet. Thers a lot of really good bows out there for beginners, so take your time in choosing. Best of luck, GROMMEL.
Welcome to the site. I hadn't shot a bow in many years. Last year I bought my first bow. I was looking for a Bear, but I have no dealers around. Plenty of them could order me a bow, but that did me no good in being able to shoot it first. I ended up getting a Diamond Infinite Edge, due to the adjustability. I have a injured shoulder. It has served well as a starter bow. In the coming month I plan on picking up a Mission Blaze. I plan on keeping my Diamond for a back up, and to help strengthen my shoulder after I have corrective surgery on it. Picking a first bow, I would look for something with plenty of adjustability, but also most important what feels right for you. Get out and shoot them, one after another, then back over them again. Pick the bow that picks you. Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
I was in the same boat as you.. I found a good deal in craigslist and bought a 2006 hoyt trykon... It was alright something to get me by.. I started looking around and I really really like the feel of my new bow,, I got the 2013 elite hunter.. It feels so comfortable in my hand and smooth draw for me. I've never heard of elite archery but I really do enjoy this bow. Real quite and feels good to shoot. I just suggest don't get caught up in the mainstream of brands and just mess with as many as you can until you find that extension of your arm
