Good job I hope to get my first bow kill this year. I shot a spike buck with my shotgun for the first time last year. I love hunting and have only been doing it for 3yrs now. My wife thinks I am too obsessed with it. (good thing she loves me)
I have practiced out to 50 so I was confident enough to let 40 go, It was dead on if she didnt jump the string haha
Congrats on your first bow deer harvest. I still remember how proud of my first bow take, it was a doe & I was surprised how fast she went down. You need to try for a buck now that you are hooked on bow hunting.
I got a lease up in chestertown and have permission to hunt some private land in greensboro and centreville, also go down to cambridge and chase some sika every now and then... I live in Denton, How about you?
