I haven't been on these forums for ages, but here's my first bow kill. It was was 20 yards away broadside. But when the bow went off she spun and the arrow entered the guts and exited through the lungs. She didn't run far but it was all down hill and I heard her cross the creek and that was it. My dad and I found her on the rocks of the far side of the creek. We came back a couple hours later because I knew I hit her but I didn't see where. Obviously I should've been wearing hunting clothing and don't mind the duct tape on my one boot. Oh and by the way this was on October 9th. and she was shot around 7:30 AM
Sweet, congrats! From this point forward that deer will be know as the duct tape deer. That's not a bad thing!
