Holy shnikeys!!! What an amazing first bow buck. I hope I can come even remotely close to a buck like that as my first bow buck. Got my first doe last Friday now I need a bow buck but I'm def not gonna see anything that size where I'm hunting. Great deer!! Congrats. :)

Nock em down, Drag em out!!

Very nice buck, it sure will be hard to top it. I probably would've just sat there staring at it thinking I'm dreaming.

That is some deer! It's my first year and I'm waiting on my bow. I hope to just see something about a quarter that size, nevermind get a shot.

I saw this same buck last year 3 different times the day before rifle season opened. He was chasing a doe all over the place and they came within 60 yds of me but I couldn't get him to leave her and come my way. So I knew there was a big buck on the property. But a friend saw the same deer during rifle season out in a picked corn field and there were 2 trucks of guys hunting right there. I figured they had killed him that night and I wouldn't see him again. I usually hunt 2 hours away where I grew up and have some really nice ground on which we have another buck every bit as big. I only hunt this area when I can't make it back home to hunt. I guess I must be spoiled or extremely lucky to have 2 quality places to hunt deer.

Thanks of all the kind words. This was the opening day of my 3rd season of hunting. 1st year I missed a doe late in the season when my arrow hit the cross support on my ground blind and last year I miss judged the distance on a 145' buck and shot right over his back. It feels good to finally get a deer on the ground. There truly is no rush like taking an animal with a bow
