He's a gnarly looking beast. I've killed a bunch of deer with a bow but this is my biggest so far. Killed him Dec 11 at 9:15am (foggy morning after a full moon). He probably won't score real well cause he's a NT. What are your thoughts? Attached a live pic too. Happy hunting y'all.

Sure thing. I will give you the cliff notes.

As I said, foggy as heck that morning and full moon the night before (which I thought was interesting). We've really only seen trail cam pics of him at night. I saw zero activity that morning up until the fog started to lift around 8:30. Saw 6 doe come by. Then around 9:00 a spike comes walking by, behind him is another small fork, and behind him was this big guy and another eight. Bachelor group in December was interesting to see. Winds were out of the South and they all came from the North as expected. But my stand was East of the trail they were using right along where two habitat lines meet (thick cedars meet oak trees along a ridge top). Sure enough he came in on a string right behind the two forks and gave me a broad side shot at 20 yd. The shot was not good and I hit 2-3 inches high and caught a lot of the shoulder and rib, arrow only penetrated 5-6 inches I bet. It stuck in him and stayed. No blood trail at all. We spent 1 1/2 days looking for him and my neighbor finally found him 3 days later. He was chewed up pretty badly which is why you see the pic of only the head. All in all, great hunt. Pretty lucky in my opinion. May not have seen him had the fog not delayed his travel route. I will say, those cedar/oak habitat lines are awesome. We have rubs all along these. Would definitely suggest hunting them if you haven't already!! Good luck late season and Merry Christmas to you all.

Awesome. As others said who cares the score. If you do score it just gross score it. Don't see the point in net scores.

Brute of buck. Score is only one way to judge a deer and depending on what scoring you use it can truly do an injustice to the buck! P&Y/B&C to me score bucks completely wrong, deducting for what a buck has produced is simply ridiculous. I'm a fan of pure antler scores, closer to what most know as the gross score.

Sweet buck...love to see that thing hanging in my man cave! :D
