First accumulating snow...love it.

Although Fall is my favorite time of year, winter is nice when there's snow on the ground. This was the view from my deck this afternoon.

 

Are hunters the only ones who like snow ??

Everyone I talk to thinks I'm wierd or some crap for loving the winter.

I always like going out and getting frozen, and then coming inside and enjoying the heat.

 

Made it a bit rough hunting during the mid day, but I ending up seeing 10 in the cut corn tonight. Just no bucks.

 

Yeah, this snowfall put a stop to the combines. The farmer who works our ground hasn't even finished his farm yet, so my dad might not get to hunt cut corn this rifle season

 

I would bet not.

I was lucky enough to get about an 1" of fresh stuff mid morning for my hunt. Always nicer to shoot a deer in the snow.
