Well it is finally coming together.... I have had my hands extremely full, especially the last month with the kitchen, interior and exterior doors, bathrooms and all the trim and tile.. Just today I laid the last porcelain tile... Let me tell you, 860 square feet of tile in 2 days will wear you out! I will be doing the grout tomorrow and then finishing my base (over the tile) and some odds and ends (bathroom hardware and fixtures as well as the rest of the closet shelving) on Saturday.. My carpet is scheduled to be installed on Friday and my appliances delivered on Monday.... The end is in sight, but I still do have quite a bit of odds and ends to do....
Glad to hear it is coming together. Soon you will have a permanent place to hang that badass black cowboy hat and have a little time before hunting season to get settled back in. Welcome home!
This is good news to my ears Scott. I know what that moment feels like to finally get settled back in. Best of luck bud, cant wait to here you finally in!!
Awesome news. Glad it's in view. Just in time for season. Now that little guy can start tearing it back apart.
hang in there.... cant imagine what you think about during those long hrs piecing things back together. keep pluggin' away bro!
Good to hear Scott, I've wondered quite a few times where you were in the process. I can't imagine what this must have been like for you and the family........
They took a pretty bad beating from smoke... They cleaned up pretty well, but still smell really bad. My taxi is working with them still with a few different tactics to attempt to get the smell out of them. No, the house was gutted down to the framing, the sections damaged by fire were then replaced. I had mentioned it (sort of) to you in a couple texts when you mentioned about going to a shoot and I think shed hunting. Thanks for the offer though!
Fires suck Scott and scare the hell out of me, I really feel for ya. Glad things are going In the right direction finally for you. Best of luck with them mounts too.
