well my uncle hired me to do a painting for him to give to my aunt as an anniversary present. it's 30 inches acrosss and more than a 1/4 inch thick, basically it's big and heavy. i used acrylic paints to do this after my uncle welded blots into the holes, cut, ground them down, sanded it and primed it.
i painted a little 15+ years ago in high school, but never got into it much. i always used colored pencils for color pics. i did some smaller and crappier paintings for art classes, but like i said i never got into it.
i put over 70 hours into this thing and i'm glad i'm done. i named it "Loving Bluebirds" becase it's a male and female "in love" and my aunt loves bluebirds. my aunt and uncle do all sorts of building and putting up houses for bluebirds.
now i can get back to burning again, it's more fun and smells alot better. hope you like it..... Jay

Dude, awesome! I've always had mad respect for people who can create something like that out of nothing.

    Again, awesome!

I've said this about your burns, and this painting may top them, but you have some SERIOUS artistic talent.
