well my uncle hired me to do a painting for him to give to my aunt as an anniversary present. it's 30 inches acrosss and more than a 1/4 inch thick, basically it's big and heavy. i used acrylic paints to do this after my uncle welded blots into the holes, cut, ground them down, sanded it and primed it. i painted a little 15+ years ago in high school, but never got into it much. i always used colored pencils for color pics. i did some smaller and crappier paintings for art classes, but like i said i never got into it. i put over 70 hours into this thing and i'm glad i'm done. i named it "Loving Bluebirds" becase it's a male and female "in love" and my aunt loves bluebirds. my aunt and uncle do all sorts of building and putting up houses for bluebirds. now i can get back to burning again, it's more fun and smells alot better. hope you like it.....
