Just got a Z7 extreme tactical and noticed some imperfections in the black finish. Blemishes and uneven paint. Is this normal for such a high dollar bow? Im a little ocd. Thanks, J
Seems to be a pretty common occurance with solid color bows. Im starting to think its an issue with the flat paint adhering to the metal. Im sure 100 & 1 people out there are now going to chime in..."Well my Elite/Bowtech/Athens paint is 100% flawless...must suck owning a Mathews or Hoyt!" To you haters, I say...F U, and Ill gladly pick up my Hoyt any day!
Any chance you can post some photos so we can see what you're talking about? I also have a Z7 Xtreme Tactical and the finish on my riser is nearly flawless.
My lost camo is nearly flawless as well. The honeycomb pattern isn't easy to cover, manufacturing wise at least.
I will try to post a pick. The blemish is located inside the riser openning where the holes were drilled for the screws that attach to the limbs. Theres a scratch in both opennings. Any idea what couldve caused this? I know it happened at the factory because there's no other way the scratches couldve gotten there. thanks
Insecure? No. I have a camo bow, but I was real tempted to get a black Matrix+. And what truth are you talking about? I own a Hoyt because that was the bow that fit me the best when I was shooting everything under the sun looking for a new bow...not because Ive seen a bunch of overpaid bowhunting celebs using them on their $10000 hunts on the Outdoor Channel. So am I less of a bowhunter or less of an archer because I dont shoot the same bow brand as you? Me...hater??? Why, because I think a bunch of "fellow hunters" smashing on people that dont shoot the same brand, or look at a few reviews of a bows finish and automatically say that brand is garbage is bs? Then yeah, hater all the way! Whatever you shoot, I hope you like it! It wasnt for me, but Im sure its a great bow either way. They really dont make any bad ones these days.
Just because u expect someone to comment, doesn't mean you comment first. Very childish mentality. the Comeback that you replied so angrily too was kinda poking fun at that I believe. No need to get up in arms. /hijack to OP any number of things can cause little marks like that. A miss aligned tool, sliding on a rack full of risers, you never know, If its a big deal touch it up? I wouldnt worry about it though
