So happy today....well as happy as I tend to get. My son a Sr year of college got his dream job offer today. He has a job waiting for him when he graduates. I only have 1 more semester at the U of M to pay for and I am done my kids are raised, educated, employed, and independent. Feels so good and I am incredibly happy to be done doling out $. I think I might just pop a top or two tonight.
Next, they come home and they have multiplied. But those you can spoil and send home when you are finished.
My wife and I are both anxiously awaiting the grand babies but to be honest we are both enjoying the fact that the kids are raised and we can relax. I am so relaxed that I am headed for a vacation in October 10 days and I am not worried about missing out deer season, I will be home for prime time. I do have to admit I set up a couple days of site visits in Florida because I can only go shelling and kayaking and fishing so many days without going crazy. 2 year plan to sell the ranch we will end up on a lake or on the gulf of mexico, but I bet we stay here in Minnesota for a while.
Pretty much have the agreement that when we move I am a tourist hunter, my first outfitted trip will be to Kansas.
