I've been to Fogo de Chao before. Ended up being about $100 per person with drinks... But we ate enough meat until we were sick. Cool thing about that place is the variety and salad bar. Can get endless filet mignon if you wanted, but can try 5+ different kinds of meat too.

You can pretty much stay as long as you want too. Really great experience.

 That's what the wine is for

After a $30-$40 bottle of wine, 2 meals, and a shared desert plus a tip, we easily spend around $150. It's not like we spend that much every time we go out, but if we are out of town, a birthday, anniversary, etc., sure. Bonus time is coming up at work anyway

There is not enough bleach in the world to get me into a hotel pool/hot tub.

The hot tub is attached to the pool and the filtration system cycles the water a total of 4 times per day. A hotel pool is no worse than any other, unless of course the filtration system isn't working. You get more germs from a cell phone or public door handle than from a pool. I know the thought of a public pool sounds nasty, but it shouldn't be anywhere near the top of your major worries considering all the nasty people who don't wash their hands after taking a dump and then walk around picking their nose and shaking hands.

Doug- those things are half filled with urine. I know all about the filters and chemicals but I am not saying it's logical I just prefer to avoid public pools and hot tubs. I had a suite in Reno once that had the hot tub, no way in hell I was getting in that thing.

I was given a free night at the sybaris. It had the hot tub in the room. I started to fill it and a wad of kinky hair bubbled up to the surface. The tub had looked clean..... but ack!! At least my hubby and I had a good laugh.

    But..... ack!!

That was a long time ago. Hopefully you have a much better experience.

Live a little man... Sheesh. Funny to think that you will gladly cut open a deer, pull its innards out, and butcher it (just used as an example cause I know you've done it haha), yet have an issue getting into a pool that's cleaner than a door knob you touch every day.

Lol, I would eat raw deer meat before I'd lick a doorknob though...
I doubt that pool and hot tub is as bad as a widely available pool or tub that's used a lot by several people. Just make sure you watch for signs that say "caution, public sewage treatment facility".

Yep well but I avoid the bladder and bowels. I am not saying it is rational but I am not getting in a public pool or hot tub.

If you like pizza, you gotta go to Giordano's. If the weather permits, go hang out on the pier and enjoy some live music.

Yeah a mass of huuha floating in the hot tub would wreck the mood.

Don't get me wrong I could have a brand new hot tub installed at the house and I am not going to use it, damn things are a petri dish and I don't like hot, don't recall the last time I took a bath.

Hey now you better watch it!:hater: LOL

The original Monicals is actually about 10 minutes from where I live. I have grown up on that thin crust pizza and compared to others I think it is pretty dang good. But compared to a good Chicago deep dish it might as well be a frozen store bought pizza.
