I know there is an application for download that you can set your bow to, and it tells you the best arrows for you. Do you guys recommend going through that or possibly calling up the bow company to get the specs on it? I guess I'm just wondering how much your accuracy will be thrown off with a different arrow than recommended. And how do you go about finding the right grain arrow tips?? It seems like I could just pick a set number grain and site my bow to that and be fine? I mostly goat hunt at close range (20-30yds). Stephen, put your total set-up up, draw-weight, tip weight preferred, etc. If you're shooting a 70# bow, get a 29.5" arrow put a 100 or 125 grain tip on a .340 spine (6075/350 Carbon Express, 7595 Gold Tip, or 340 Series Easton/Beman) arrow and you'd be fine, if you're shooting a 60# bow, a .400 spine (400 Series Easton/Beman, 5575 Gold Tip, or 4560/250 Carbon Express)would work better with a 100 or 125gr tip. You can get really specific, but those numbers would get you real close to what would work best. And Jeff/GMMAT is correct, BH tuning your bow is probably the best tuning you can do for your set-up.
