what do you guys out there use for finding land owners and property lines. i tried the onxhunt app for a few days and now it wants me to pay $100. there are some other apps but they are also $10/mo or $100 etc. are there any free ways of seeing this information. a few reasons is because there is a hunting club maybe 3 miles from my house and i cannot seem to find anything on it. i have been told by a few people that "think" they know who the owner is. i would like to know for sure to try and contact them. other reasons is for a spot i just started hunting, the property owner next to it has been hostile in the past to hunters and i want to make sure i know where the line is. thanks

by hostile i mean just an ass, not violent....

OnX maps is only 29.00 for a single state per year.
Contact the county surveyor for that area and ask for a link to their GIS maps. Then just set up the layers to show property lines and land owners.
    I use both

Not sure about Georgia but in KY each county has a Property Valuation Administrator (PVA) office that is usually but not always in a city hall or court house type location. This office has maps just like what OnX uses and they will be more updated. They have to keep these records updated and you can even see what the property is valued at and what the previous owners paid for it. These are public records that you should be able to access. Most of these offices in KY you can just freely peruse the records as much as you want. Worst case you can usually tell someone who works there where you are wanting to look and they can find it for you. Go online and see what you can find for your county or call the county court house and ask them. Good luck.

I only pay 14.99 per year for onx maps for a single state. Make sure that you disable the feature for the entire country if you only need one state. For only $15 i feel that onx is truly a neccessity for on the fly mapping

I like HuntStand to but I’m not sure that they have contact info. Also one area I hunt doesn’t give boundary lines

The county I live in has the maps and other information available at the county website at no charge.

You pay the $100 if you want access to all land owners and property lines in the entire USA. It's only $30 a year if you get the 5 states only. I use it and it's great. I only got the 5 states. So #1 Michigan since I live here then I picked 4 more that I am likely to hunt in. So you could go the cheap way with OnXmapS like I did.
