Whenever I saw that picture posted I KNEW there was going to be safety police all over it! I can't believe how much people overreact with everything. Do these people keep full face helmets on there children all the time?? I don't have any kids but have one on the way in just a few weeks. Its actually kind of ironic because I actually was just telling the GF a couple weeks ago that we needed one of those carriers so me and the boy could shoot this summer! I guess I will fall under the category of a bad parent when the time comes..... I guess I just wanted to say KUDOS to you Finch on being an awesome dad!
I loved it. Even told my wife I will be doing that with our future child. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S4.
No problem with it at all. She's a heck of a lot safer there than sitting in front of a tv. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It was posted on the BHC facebook page and a bunch of people were giving crap about it in the comments. I thought it was a pretty sweet photo as well.
Yea, we will in the bubble world. Control everything and don't let kids get out and be kids. I am glad to see that the Dad was just out spending time with his kid. Awesome picture.
People just need something to B#tch about. It's a great photo but some people that have no clue about archery see a weapon and a child and think it's bad, being uneducated about a subject and commenting on should be outlawed. Here's my favorite comment:Sarah Michele Wiggington I mean that bow could snap.. and that wire could hit the baby. Im al for archery I do it myself.. but incase of a fail id rather it just be me hurt an not my baby. but that's just me. its a cute picture just dangerous. 21 hours ago · Like · 3
Thanks guys. Yeah, there were a handful of negative comments but overall everyone liked the pic. I really appreciate all the support from most of the hunting community. Did see a couple hunters bashing it but you can't please everyone. WesternMD, that carrier is the Ergobaby performance. Great carrier and is very comfortable. Healthchecksystems.com had them the cheapest when wet bought it. We were shed hunting a few weeks ago and she fell asleep in it. It's good up to 43 lbs I believe. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
I had to go check out the fuss. Sadly this us just another example why I have no faith in humanity. In order for anything to happen to the kid, you'd have to defy all sorts of laws of physics to get a piece of the bow/arrow to fly around to the backside. And that's after the 1 in a million odds that a catastrophic bow break occurs.
Well thanks to Finch my son whines every time I start to leave the house. I had to get one made for me to haul him around in one. Difference is he's 31, 6', and 250 lbs.
I was tempted to call CPS myself over this blatant endangerment of the poor child's life! Lol some people are crazy. I loved the pic myself...
Stupid they need to find something to complain about. That is the best picture I have ever seen. No question about it I will be doing that all the time and other outdoor activities when the time comes and I have a kid
