Running 8 24w LED lights. Was able to make it out for a couple hours on a test run. Everything worked great ;)

That night was Thompson in Howell, Friday we went to lobdale and didnt see a whole lot, Saturday went out to Woodland in Brighton and have always done good out there. Lots of shooting but not very many fish in the boat . Thinking of going to Woodland tonight again

Nice! Did you DIY the light frame? Those are the kinds of rigs we gig fish in the Ozarks with.

Yeah we had a awning at one of our offices and the UPS truck hit it one day so when we got a new one I was able to take the awning frame which was the aluminum 1in square tubing. Made the cuts and welded it all together. For mounting it to the boat I had a old bed frame and just cut chunks out of that.
There just 27w lED spots. I got them off ebay.

My WIFE mentioned, "We ought to put a rig like that together" after seeing your photo I showed her.
I've been after her for years to get a johnboat.

Hopefully it inspired her :tu: It has been one of the better investments me and the pops made. If there isnt ice we are constantly taking it out doing something. The one thing I would have changed when buying is getting one with a front deck already on it. Not to big of a deal though we just got a sheet of dimond plate cut and screwed it into place. Hard to tell from the picture but you can kind of get the idea. There was a bench in the very front it sits on back to the front seat box that stores the trolling motor battery.

Its so nice not having to yell over a generator since I dont have one of those expensive quite 4 stroke ones lol. Still get a little crap from people on the lake with the lights shining on there house but at least im not out there making a bunch of noise.
