After I got the text that he shot one, I had a feeling it was a good buck, I ha e been fortunate to be in the same woods with him on more than one occasion and get to walk up to a brute with him! Even though that's the buck I really wanted . I was able to arrow a really nice doe the following evening and we have plenty of other bigguns for me to go after! Thank you, everyone, for the kind words. It is appreciated more than you know. I have a few more pictures to share. I knew I had many pictures of this buck from running several trail cameras throughout the year. I went back through the last few months, and found a few nice ones. We had been calling him "Tall Tines". Our property was his core area, and he was definitely one of, if not the, dominant buck on our property. Tall Tines is at the taxidermist now, and I'm looking forward to adding him to the wall!
