Finally a cold front moves through. Tonight would be an excellent time to hunt. The corn is starting to get harvested here and I have observed a lot of deer moving through the newly cut fields during daylight hours. Too bad I can't hunt until the weekend and even then I will be strapped for time to get a good hunt in. Okay done venting........ Today Colder. Mostly cloudy. Highs around 40. North winds 5 to 15 mph. Tonight Cloudy. Chance of light snow through late evening... Then slight chance of snow showers after midnight. Lows in the mid 20s. North winds 10 to 15 mph. Weather here in No Mo has dropped down to the 30's as the high. I plan to get out there on Saturday. The low Friday evening is going to be 13 degrees. I'm afraid deer won't be moving at all with the rifle season hunting pressure and frigid temps. We'll see.
