All the talk of changing to shoot a specific distance is a non issue. Set it to 25 yard and you are good for anything under and adjust the hold a tad when at 30. If it's any further than that you will either know they are going to be further and can adjust or you range and if you range you have time to adjust the sight. It's not that hard, people make it more complicated than it needs to be.

Good call! I went with a HHA optimizer light single 0.10 this year and I am absolutely loving it. I can set it at 25yds and shoot from 0-30yds all day kill shots. Now that is sweeeeeet!!

I did the opposite and decided to go cheaper, bought a tru glow archer adjustable to see the single pin. Loved it. My groups shrunk, less crowded picture, became a lot more accurate and now I'll never go back

There's certainly an appeal to ranging with one pin but I'm a bit confused with the thought of using one setting and self adjusting. This sounds similar to the concept of using a multi pin sight with the first pin at 20yards. I'm on the fence and like many have stated, you only have so much time to range and shoot.

Regarding, the ranging time and such. What I do is I make inconspicuous range markers all around my sets. Then I set my pin at 25, pretty much good to go from 0-30, if it is farther like 40 I can adjust my pin. Has always worked for me.
