After 6 months or so of RE-learning how to eat, exercise and balance life around all this (15 month old) I finally reached the goal. I started at 256lbs at work with steel toes, etc on. Around 250 in boxers at home. This morning I weighed in at 199 after breakfast at home and 206 at work. 50lbs, and the biggest goal out of many little goals on the way. I am actually below what I weighed in college, and look a little skinny. Now it is time to do what I actually enjoy, lifting. That is actually the reason I went a little past where I needed to be, I want to have a little more cut than size this time. I am starting to get too old (30) to loose weight and that is why I do not want much bulk, so I want to keep it down and just cut it some.

Thanks for the help on that last 10 lbs Jeff...Sometimes you think you know what needs to be done, but you need some better input. You also need a swift kick in the Johnson as well. I was only joking about the age thing, but I know everyyear that goes by makes it harder and harder though.

Most of my weight came from quitting dipping a few years back, I packed on over 25 lbs in less than a month and just added a few here and there, bad thing was I started dipping again a few months later. I am now closing in on 16 months with no tobacco, so the weight was just in my face for too long. Nothing is as motivating as plating a pick up game with guys you use to drag, and 2 hours later you were owned because you were trying to drag you fat ( ) up and down the court or field. Thanks guys for the contrats.

Man thats great! I quite smoking cigars in Jan and gained 40 myself. Hard to mash my ass into my hunting pants now. And your right, it gets harder to loose the older you get.

Michael, that is fantastic buddy. That is a serious accomplishment. I am down a measly 7-8 pounds in the last 6 months. I gain and lose weight slowly.
