Well we took the long weekend and finally got up to our camp. Our property is roughly 800 acres with a parcel of 300 acres that was practically clear cut 14 years ago. simply put it is now some of the thickest nastiest land around, and we all know what that means! unfortunately its not an area of the state that holds a lot of deer but it does hold more moose that you can shake a stick at! We were able to find some decent deer sign, and a couple areas where a couple big bears are feeding and bedding. Set 4 cameras in these areas, so there should be some pretty exciting pics to come out of this set. Havent seen any moose pics on here before so i figured it would be pretty cool. I'll be pulling these cams the weekend before oct 1. hoping they hold some good info. opening day cant come soon enough!
