Finally got 'er! I've worked on this place for 2 full summers and early falls. Most of this summer was spent heat tracing, insulating and skirting the trailer. I believe that I have successfully winter proofed a travel trailer (dealer said it couldn't be done). Last year we battled freezing pipes through out the winter. Had to cut the bottom covering of the trailer and heat tape and re-insulate most of the pipes. In addition, I built a frame underneath the trailer and put 12 1/2" of insulation under the floor. The walls have the standard 3 1/2". Painted, caulked and sealed. Bring it! Adding a deck in the spring to finish it off. The GF and I were able to get a couple other projects in as well. GF's stone work project. Water hole enhancement Mineral site And finally some food plots. I've got 4 weeks of vacation coming up shortly, I'm pretty stoked. Thanks for looking.
Greg, that is simply awesome! Love the hunting "shack." I could see myself rocking that thing all season. :D You planted the cornfield too?
Awesome, Greg. Always love looking at photos of your place you've been working on. Looks like an amazing place to call your own. I'm thinking of adding a water hole or two to our property next year. Any tips other than choosing a low spot in an area that naturally holds water?
I got the tour a couple weeks ago and the pics don't do it justice it is heaven on earth ! Nice work Greg and Good luck hunting ! Call me if you need any help tracking and celebrating
Looks great Greg! I know I have said before that I would love to have a place like that, hope you get a nice buck this year up there. From the photos it looks like you have some shooters
Greg, man that is awesome! I cannot wait to see your success pics this year. Enjoy yourself to the fullest.
The place looks great Greg. I remember seeing pictures of when you first started working on it, it's sure come along! Good luck out there!
I own about 3 acres of the corn field which is part of my front yard. A farmer leases the crop rights from me. Thanks for the comments.
