Well, my buddy and I headed out to the farm this afternoon to check my camera and we found that it had taken 201 photos over the last week.... but that my batteries were also basically drained.

Here are a few of the photo's that we got of some bucks (the picture quality is TERRIBLE when the batteries are down under 10%)

And this is the one that really has us intrigued.... the buck was in the distance and VERY hard to see. I messed with a bunch of settings on my PhotoShop and this is as good as I could get it to turn out.

I'm sure not everybody will be able to make out the antlers, but they are there... we just don't know exactly what they are. While editing the pic, we couldn't decide just how big of a "antler range" this buck is...

We pulled my cam and weren't planning on putting it back out on this farm for awhile, but after these pics we decided to get new batteries for it and set it up in this field again tomorrow. My buddies cam is on the opposite side of the farm and we are moving it to this area as well. We plan to have a cam on the fence post (where mine was when it took this pics) and one at the edge of the corn (where the bucks are headed).

Some good looking bucks, for sure. Is this the same camera that the bear messed with?

Looking good Jason. From the looks of that last pic it I'll have to bring it for our eastern PA vs. western PA competition. :tu:

    Thanks guys,

Matt, yes, its the same camera the bear was messing with. I'm not sure how many pictures I have on this set of batteries but I'm sure it is in the 8,000-10,000 photo range. The Reconyx are great for battery life, but when they finally do drop down in that 10-15% range the IR pictures really drop off quickly.

You can't imagine how excited by buddy and I got when we saw that picture. This has been by far the worst year for pictures that we have ever had. We had so many nice bucks on camera from this property last year but nobody has been seeing them this summer and they weren't in front of our cameras. We had two bucks on camera all summer that would go over 100" and that was it. Finally they are starting to show up, but now the fun part is trying to figure out where they are bedding and going over some topo maps to try and get a game plan started.
