I ordered this bow in May of 2009. I received it the 1st week of April, this year. I've been busy with other interests. But, I finally got around to setting it up about a week or so ago. Been shooting, and I'll probably get out a time or 3 in the next few weeks. I'll start "really" hunting, in Oct.

It's a Schaefer Silvertip recurve (by Dave Windauer) / 51#'s @ 28" (54# @ my DL) / 60" / Elk antler tips / fast flight compatible / Dymonwood Rosewood Riser / Woodland camo veneers. I've got my std. beaver ball string silencers installed and a leather sling made by my good friend John Dill (anewakee archery).

Nice looking bow, not used to seeing one with a sling.

I think that bow is more of a piece of art than a weapon. Very nice Jeff.

Very nice looking bow. I'd bet we will be seeing it laying over a deer soon.
